GREIBOPON WWE is a multifunctional soaking and degreasing agent specifically developed for the beamhouse operations of leather production. Its advanced surfactant-based formulation accelerates soaking, liming, and paste liming processes, significantly reducing processing times and improving the uniformity of chemical penetration into the hide.
A key characteristic of GREIBOPON WWE is its dual degreasing action: it removes surplus natural fats and greases from the hide while simultaneously distributing residual fat evenly throughout the leather structure. This balanced approach prevents over-degreasing, which can lead to brittleness, while ensuring a uniform fat distribution that contributes to consistent softness and handle in the finished leather.
GREIBOPON WWE is stable in mineral tanning floats and fully compatible with chrome tanning processes. It is not stable in vegetable tanning floats and should not be used in these applications. The product may be added directly to the float without prior dilution.
GREIBOPON WWE is biodegradable, supporting responsible and environmentally compliant production in modern tanneries.

In dyehouse operations involving aniline leather and suede, GREIBOPON WWE has a demonstrably positive effect on the penetration and levelness of acid and substantive dyes, helping to achieve even, reproducible colour results and reducing the risk of patchiness or streaking on sensitive leather surfaces.
