GREIBOTAN GSA is a high-performance replacement and bleaching syntan based on a phenol-sulfonic acid condensate, specifically formulated for the retanning of white chrome leathers where excellent light fastness is an essential requirement. GREIBOTAN GSA bleaches chrome leathers to a clean, level, and uniform white shade while simultaneously imparting a full, rounded handle and a consistently tight grain. Its excellent levelling and covering power ensures uniform surface appearance and consistent colour expression across the full hide, making it particularly well suited for white, light, and pastel leather articles where surface uniformity is critical.
The phenol-sulfonic acid condensate chemistry of GREIBOTAN GSA provides the characteristic combination of hydrophobic aromatic rings and hydrophilic sulfonic acid groups that delivers both strong filling action and excellent dispersibility throughout the leather cross-section, contributing to consistent fullness without harsh astringency.
